Travel Nurse RN - Neurology

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring at least 2 years of OR experience with the ability to circulate and scrub across multiple service lines.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting,
• Ability to circulate and scrub across multiple service lines including General, GYN, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Pediatrics, Thoracic, and Robotics,
• Shift options available: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM, 11:00 AM-7:30 PM, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM, and 11:00 PM-7:30 AM (shift preference discussed during interview),
• Rotating weekends, holidays, and call required,
• EMR systems used: Epic, Pyxis, Vocera, and Outlook,
• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license currently in hand,
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required,
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required,
• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk throughout the shift,
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 250 lbs with assistance,

Additional Information

• Circulate and scrub cases across a broad range of surgical service lines,
• Level I trauma experience preferred,
• CNOR certification preferred,
• First-time travelers are not implied to be excluded, but strong OR experience is essential for consideration
