Entry Level Mechanical Engineering Graduate

As an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer at ENERCON, you will join a vibrant and innovative team dedicated to evaluating and designing power systems for power-generating facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career engineers (1-3 years of experience) who are eager to develop their skills, embrace challenges, and make a significant impact in their field.

In this position, you will work collaboratively across various engineering disciplines, gaining insights into the integration of mechanical engineering with electrical, civil, and other specialties. You will manage your projects effectively, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, and quality with limited supervision, while producing high-quality engineering documents that comply with industry codes, standards, and client expectations.

Staying updated on the latest industry standards and safety practices, particularly those relevant to the nuclear sector, will be key to delivering innovative and compliant solutions. Your efforts will directly support client needs and enhance the success of complex engineering projects.

Site visits will allow you to explore plant systems and structures, interface with client personnel, and observe your engineering solutions in action.

Collaborating within a diverse and innovative team to evaluate and design power systems for power-generating facilities.

Understanding and coordinating the roles of other engineering disciplines on the project.

Managing the budget, scope, schedule, and quality of your work assignments with minimal guidance.

Preparing accurate engineering documents (e.g., Maintaining knowledge of industry codes, standards, safety practices, and design techniques applicable to the nuclear sector.

Delivering high‑quality engineering outcomes in adherence to client and ENERCON Quality Assurance Programs.

Building strong client relationships through professional communications and quality engineering solutions.

Traveling to plant sites to engage with client personnel and conduct walk‑downs of plant structures and systems.

Graduated with a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university.

Familiarity with industry standards and a willingness to engage in prototyping and testing; Proficient in Word and Excel.

Capability to climb stairs and ladders at client sites and navigate effectively for walk‑downs.

Willingness to work outside and travel for project needs.

S. citizens. Ability to pass pre‑employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, background checks, and annual motor vehicle record reviews as per company and client policies.

Citizen or an approved dual citizen.

The salary range for this full‑time position is $80,000.00 - $99,600.00, determined by role, experience, and location. Pay is established based on work location and additional factors, including skills and relevant education/training.
