Shift Operations: 3rd Shift - night hours

This position requires a versatile General Technician with expertise in fire life safety systems, pharmaceutical environments, and carpentry. You'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring safety and compliance in sensitive environments. Your role will involve working with industrial machinery, facility systems, and specialized pharmaceutical equipment, as well as performing carpentry work and maintaining fire safety systems.

Performing routine maintenance and repairs on diverse mechanical equipment
Diagnosing mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and manual inspection techniques
Conducting preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire life safety systems
Performing carpentry work, including building and repairing structures and fixtures
Maintaining accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used

May require working in various environments, including indoor settings, cleanrooms, and pharmaceutical production areas
Occasional exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs) is required
Flexible schedule may be necessary, including evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts
Must be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience each in fire life safety systems, pharmaceutical/cleanroom environments, and carpentry
Knowledge of fire life safety codes and standards
Carpentry skills, including measuring, cutting, and assembling wooden structures

Vocational training or associate degree in mechanical engineering, carpentry, or related field
NICET Fire Alarm Systems certification
Experience with specialized pharmaceutical equipment
Advanced computer skills for record-keeping and parts ordering
