Operating Room Registered Nurse Contract Position
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse with Operating Room expertise to support surgical patients in a dynamic clinical setting. Qualifications and Experience
Active and valid RN license
Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
Proficient in perioperative nursing procedures and sterile technique
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
Schedule

Primary Responsibilities
Circulate and assist during various surgical procedures, ensuring proper handling of instruments and supplies
Monitor patients throughout operative phases, from pre-op assessments to post-surgical recovery
Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support staff for optimal patient outcomes
Keep accurate intraoperative documentation and provide thorough patient updates to families and care teams
Respond promptly to emergent situations and act within scope of RN licensure
