Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a Wound Care Nurse to join our day shift team. The Wound Care Nurse establishes standards of care and clinical competencies to meet rehabilitative patient wound and ostomy care needs. Consults for complex wounds and ostomy patients and takes referrals from physicians and nurses according to the referral criteria of SAI and WOCN (Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse Certification) standards. Leads the development, coordination, and monitoring of the hospital's wound care program in order to improve clinical outcomes.
Pay Range: $47.00 - $59.00 per hour
Night or weekend shifts are eligible for shift differential pay. Differential rates vary by shift hours and are added to the base hourly rate.
This range reflects our commitment to pay equity and market-competitive compensation.
Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.
Minimum 2 years RN experience in the clinical setting

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
RN licensure in the Commonwealth of VA required
BSN in nursing preferred or evidence of pursing on a continuing basis
