Current LPN/LVN license Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
General comments about the unit:

Day shift team consists of 1 charge nurse, 1 unit secretary, 7-8 RNs, and 2-3 patient care technicians.
Night shift team consists of 1 charge nurse, 1 unit secretary, 7-8 RNs, and 2 patient care technicians.
5 to 6 patients per nurse.
Type of equipment includes EKG machines, code carts, vital sign machines, vascular Dopplers, wound vacs, interpreting services, and bedside monitors for rhythm monitoring.
Electronic Medical Record system used: Meditech.
Experience in Medical Surgical nursing
Typical procedures performed on the unit include:

Small incisions and drainages
Peritoneal dialysis
The unit is recognized as a hospital of the future, featuring advanced technologies and interactive systems. Renovations are currently underway to enhance patient facilities, including low-profile showers and decorative tiles. This is a Level I trauma facility.
