Does going to work and taking care of patients with the same diagnosis everyday sound mundane? Are you looking to get experience in different inpatient fields without being tied down to one specifically? Saint Luke's North Hospital is seeking a Float Pool Nurse to join our team. You will have the opportunity to help improve hospital throughput and capacity while enhancing the patient experience by floating as needed based on staffing and patient care needs between departments that include surgical intermediate, medical telemetry, medical intermediate, physical rehabilitation, and behavioral health units. Utilizes the nursing process

Performs patient care, delegating patient care tasks, and supervising other patient care staff

Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consults with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures

Shift Details

Full Time Day 6:45am-7:15pm, 3 shifts per week.

1 year Basic Life Support RQI - Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI), Registered Nurse (MO) Multi-State - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS) Associate Degree
