As a Security Officer Retail Screening in Fort Lauderdale, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate with professionalism. You will support employees, visitors, and operations through exceptional service while embodying Allied Universal's caring, agile culture, teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity.
Position Type: Full Time
Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a logistics and distribution location.
Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, loading docks, parking areas, and vehicle entry and exit activity, and report unauthorized access and/or unusual activity.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other security-related concerns.
Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervisors and designated client representatives.
Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
