Family Law Paralegal Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid)
A growing and highly respected family law practice is seeking a Family Law Paralegal to join their team. This role is ideal for a proactive paralegal who can anticipate next steps, manage discovery-heavy matters, and serve as a strong operational partner to attorneys.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage and drive workflow for family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and financial discovery matters
Draft pleadings, motions, financial affidavits, discovery requests/responses, and related legal documents
Coordinate and organize discovery, financial records, exhibits, and supporting documentation
Prepare cases for hearings, mediations, depositions, and trial
Track deadlines, maintain organized case files, and proactively move cases forward
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third parties
Assist with scheduling, attorney calendars, billing entries, and case management workflows
Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency within the team
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of paralegal experience with a strong background in family law
- Experience handling discovery-heavy cases and financial affidavits
- Strong knowledge of Florida family law procedures and court practices
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple active cases simultaneously
- Comfortable working independently and anticipating attorney/client needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
