Transportation Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Engineer/Project Engineer to join our team in Chicago. If you’re passionate about transportation and site engineering projects and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this opportunity is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design process for transportation projects, setting priorities and developing objectives.
Serve as a technical resource for a multidisciplinary team.
Design tasks may include:
Highway and roadway plans, specifications, and estimates.
Sewer plans, specifications, and estimates.
Project permitting and reports.
Mentor junior engineers and support their professional growth.
Engage in professional society involvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
5+ years of experience in transportation engineering, highway, and local street design.
Knowledge of IDOT, CDOT, and municipal design standards.
IL PE license required.
Proficiency in MicroStation/OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil3D is a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients and teams.
