Quality Inspector - Mechanical Action Group Staffing Location: Fort Worth, TX - South of DFW Airport
Pay: $20.00/hour

Job Summary Action Group Staffing is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Fort Worth, TX. This position is responsible for inspecting mechanical components, assemblies, and finished products to ensure they meet required specifications, drawings, tolerances, and quality standards.
Responsibilities Inspect mechanical parts, assemblies, incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM, and other precision measuring tools
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards
Identify defects, dimensional discrepancies, and non-conforming materials
Document inspection results and complete non-conformance reports
Work with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
Maintain accurate quality-control and inspection records
Assist with audits, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements Minimum 3 years of mechanical or manufacturing quality inspection experience
Experience using precision measuring tools
Knowledge of GD&T
Understanding of machining, fabrication, and/or mechanical assembly
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills, including MS Office, ERP, or QMS systems
Preferred CQI or CMM Operator Certification
CMM or NDT experience
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge
Pay: $20.00/hour | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
This is not an entry-level QC position. Candidates must have previous hands-on mechanical inspection experience and be comfortable using precision measuring equipment.
