Human Resources Generalist / Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented, bilingual Human Resources Generalist / Payroll Specialist to join a growing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong payroll expertise who also enjoys supporting HR operations, benefits administration, employee relations, and cross‑functional collaboration. Human Resources Responsibilities

Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee training.

Prepare and maintain new hire packets and HR documentation.

Administer HR records while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.

Assist with benefits administration and workers’ compensation cases.

Serve as a resource for employees by responding to HR‑related questions in a timely and professional manner.

Utilize Paycom and the company’s HRIS system for daily HR activities.

Run occasional business errands, including bank deposits and office supply purchases.

Process payroll accurately and on schedule.

Maintain payroll, benefits, workers’ compensation, attendance, and leave records.

Ensure payroll compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Calculate payroll deductions, taxes, garnishments, and benefit deductions.

Balance payroll accounts, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure payroll accuracy.

Prepare payroll expense, tax, and benefits reports.

Record and document payroll information within Acumatica.

Prepare daily deposits and maintain accurate financial documentation.

Customer Service

Provide exceptional internal customer service to employees and managers.

Respond promptly to payroll and HR inquiries.

Partner with department managers to resolve payroll and HR‑related issues efficiently.

Effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities and shifting deadlines.

Maintain organized payroll and HR records.

Continuously improve payroll and HR processes.

Stay current on payroll regulations and employment law changes.

3+ years of Human Resources experience.

Strong payroll processing experience required.

Experience with benefits administration and workers’ compensation.

Strong Excel and computer skills.

Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
