Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with ECG rhythm interpretation
• Experience working in a step down unit or similar environment

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the step down unit.
• Monitor and accurately interpret ECG rhythms.
• Manage care of patients during life-threatening emergencies.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary personnel based on their scope of practice.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans.
