Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN - Psych for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role specializes in providing care and support within a psychiatric emergency environment. As a Level 1 RN in Psych ER, you will deliver comprehensive healthcare to patients experiencing psychiatric crises.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Psych - Travel
Conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case history
Plan and provide nursing care for patients
Make nursing diagnosis of medical and emotional status of patients and recommend treatment options
Consult with psychiatrists and other behavioral health staff in designing appropriate treatment plans
Administer and note reactions to psychotropic drugs and other medications
Arrange further medical attention when necessary
Assist patients in understanding emotional disturbances and accepting treatment
Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and patients
Test and ensure treatment for pain
Document all patient information on medical charts and follow physician's written orders
Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate records
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and completing progress notes
Provide courteous, high-quality service to patients and the public

BLS Certification (AHA) ONLY
Minimum 2 years experience
