This role is responsible for performing all job duties in a manner consistent with current company process and procedures and maintaining all food safety and sanitation standards. The Barista position starts at $9.00/hour. Day shift is mornings, Afternoon shift is mid-day, we are not currently hiring for Night shift workers.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesGreet and connect with each customer.Welcome questions and seek opportunities to educate on our products.Maintain speed of service standards during high volume periods by staying calm.Suggestively sell gift cards, complementary/additional products, and merchandise.Solicit order, enter sale, and process payment in a timely and friendly fashion.Manage cash drawer by following established cash handling proceedings.Serve all customer orders according to recipe and aesthetic guidelines.Utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rush.Deliver products within established speed of service guidelines and identify drink upon delivery.Operate and maintain cleanliness of all store equipment.Must work one day on the weekendFollow all opening, midday, and closing procedures.Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptability.Optimize workflow efficiency by restocking work stations, food, supplies, and merchandise.Demonstrate genuine appreciation to each customer.All other duties assigned by management.QualificationsPassion for people (Co-Workers and Customers)DependabilityAbility to learn quickly, problem solve, and handle multiple dutiesCommitment to master brand recipes and techniquesEnergetic, fast paced, flexible work styleAbility to work cooperatively in a team environmentCommunicate effectively and professionallyReliable TransportationAccess to smartphoneThe functions and skills described here are general in nature and represent the type of work performed, but they do constitute an exhaustive list of the duties and responsibilities performed on the job.
