Head of Business Operations - Remote

AITS Corporation is a veteran-led prime contractor delivering sovereign-grade cybersecurity and applied defense grade secure cross-domain solutions for the U.S. government, defense-industrial base, and allied sovereign partners.

Our business is growing, and we are accepting applications for a DIRECTOR of OPERATIONS who preferably is based in the United States, with the possibility for some remote work and/or potential requirements to travel. This candidate will need to routinely report to our site in GA.

The Director of Operations is accountable for the strategic leadership, oversight, and assurance of AITS' operations, spanning Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Corporate Services. The role provides a critical bridge between operational delivery and executive leadership, translating organizational strategy into prioritized, well-governed programs while ensuring consistent performance, financial control, and risk management. The Director acts as the COO's principal adviser on operational delivery, organizational readiness, and transformation.

Provide leadership to Operations Project Manager(s).

Provide executive-level assurance and reporting.

Financial and Resource Stewardship

Risk, Compliance, and Resilience

Provide senior ownership of risk management.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and security obligations.

Transformation and Change

Lead major operational and digital transformation initiatives.

Strong governance, financial, and stakeholder management skills.

Recognized project/program management experienced delivery and or qualification (PRINCE2, MSP, PMP, or equivalent).

Demonstrated ability to act as a leader and facilitator who enables the business rather than acting as a blocker.
