HR/Recruiting Generalist

Terra Site Constructors, LLC has a requirement for an experienced Human Resource Generalist. The position requires an individual who has experience in all the traditional Human Resource areas of responsibility. The role requires someone who can multitask in a busy working environment.

Position Responsibilities and Duties: Responsible for the recruitment of staff utilizing a variety of recruiting sources.

Schedules interviews and conducts initial screening interviews.

Extends offers of employment, conducts reference and background investigations of new hires.

Handles the onboarding process for all new staff members, including I-9 submissions, drug tests, insurance enrollments, and new hire orientations.

Responsible for maintaining up to date personnel records of all employees.

Working with hiring managers develops and updates Job Descriptions.

Provides input and support in the development of the Employee Handbook, Policies and Procedures.

Works with managers to identify and develop training needs of the staff.

Develops programs/events designed to foster a positive work environment, through the development of employee events and company sponsored activities.

Education, Certifications and Experience: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resource Management desired.

3 – 7 years of experience in a traditional Generalist role is required.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Excellent computer skills, including Excel spreadsheets, report writing and Office Suite.

Experience interacting with and addressing issues and needs of all levels of staff.
