Insurance Verification Specialist (Greeter)

Building Relationships

The Insurance Verification Specialist (Greeter) will be an integral part of the Suvida Healthcare team. The Insurance Verification Specialist will be the first impression of the center to all patients, family members, and visitors. The Greeter will provide exceptional customer service and ensure all who visit Suvida Healthcare centers are welcomed and properly attended to. The Insurance Verification Specialist will work with the center team by answering questions, managing incoming and outgoing calls, ensuring all benefits are verified, and assisting with other clinical clerical tasks. Ensures the highest level of customer service possible

Attends all clinic huddles and clinic monthly meetings

Greets and Welcomes patients to the clinic

Assists patients with scheduling transportation to and from the clinic

Ensures all insurance benefits are verified and active

Manages phone lines by answering, taking messages, and conducting outbound calls as instructed

Updates patient information and making changes to EMR platform

1+ years progressive work experience in the healthcare industry

• 2+ years of customer service
• Bi-lingual-(English/Spanish) required
• Experience in Value-based care operations preferred
• Experience documenting electronic medical records
• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor's in healthcare administration, Business, or Hospitality preferred
