Description:
This position requires a registered nurse with experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing.
The nurse will float between various units based on skill sets and facility needs.
Weekend shifts are required, with every other weekend scheduling.
The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4.
Candidates must have reliable transportation for this assignment.
The facility has a total of 418 staffed beds and provides a range of interdisciplinary support services.
Candidates will be responsible for administering medications and managing IVs, as well as providing wound care and telemetry monitoring.
The registered nurse will work closely with various teams, including physical therapy and social services.
This role requires experience with insulin administration and colostomy/ileostomy management.
Additional responsibilities may include assisting with rapid response and code teams.
