Full Time | Shifts: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM | Monday-Friday

CPR) is a nationally recognized nonprofit and Baltimore’s only comprehensive crisis response system. Since 1992, we’ve been at the forefront of behavioral health crisis care — providing timely, community-based services for individuals and families experiencing mental health and substance use challenges.

In this role, you’ll provide on-site crisis intervention, assessment, and stabilization services alongside a Peer Support Specialist. You’ll help individuals in crisis develop safety plans, connect to resources, and begin their path toward recovery.

What You’ll Do Collaborate with mobile crisis team members and respond to individuals in crisis in the community or hospital ED.

Work with individuals in crisis to develop a crisis plan, provide linkages to care and introduce other crisis planning tools as needed prior to the completion of the crisis run.

Facilitate engagement of the individual in crisis and help them feel welcome and comfortable.

Create performance improvement plans for staff as necessary.

Provide regular supervision documentation.

Build relationships with addiction, mental health, homeless outreach providers, peer recovery supports, and other community resources.

Maintain professional, open, effective, and appropriate communication with clients, CPR staff, management, outside agencies, and the public.

Complete all required trainings by scheduled due dates and maintain compliance with CPR policies and procedures.

Qualifications Education High school diploma required; Minimum two years of experience working in the field of peer recovery and possessing experiential expertise dealing with our focus areas of treatment.
