HR Generalist - Employee Relations & Recruiting

Salary Range: $65,000–$100,000 annually (depending on experience and qualifications) + bonus

We're looking for a People & Culture Partner who is passionate about creating a positive, engaging, and supportive workplace. This role will serve as a trusted resource for employees and a bridge between employees and leadership, helping strengthen communication, reinforce our culture, and ensure our team feels informed, heard, valued, and connected.

You'll also support day-to-day HR operations, onboarding and offboarding, employee relations, and compliance as our organization expands into multiple states.

Responsibilities

Build strong, trusted relationships with employees and serve as an approachable resource for HR questions, concerns, and support.

Champion the employee experience by developing initiatives that strengthen engagement, recognition, morale, and workplace culture.

Serve as a communication bridge between leadership and employees, helping communicate company news, organizational changes, policies, and important updates clearly and consistently.

Gather employee feedback, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend initiatives that enhance the workplace experience.

Coordinate employee appreciation programs, celebrations, team-building activities, and other culture initiatives.

Facilitate new hire orientations, employee meetings, presentations, training sessions, and group discussions.

Coordinate onboarding and offboarding to create a welcoming and seamless employee experience.

Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in ADP Workforce Now .

Support benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, and day-to-day employee inquiries.

Help maintain HR policies and practices in compliance with federal, California, and applicable multi-state employment laws.

Support HR compliance activities, documentation, audits, and policy updates as the company expands into additional states.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Minimum 2–4 years of HR, People Operations, or related experience.

Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.

Working knowledge of California employment laws; multi-state HR experience is a plus.

Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, or other HR operations.

Experience facilitating orientations, presentations, meetings, training sessions, or group discussions.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Approachable, empathetic, and able to build trust with employees at all levels.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Proactive, resourceful, and excited to contribute to a growing organization.
