We’re hiring paraprofessionals and classroom support staff for the 2026–2027 school year to work with students who need specialized support. Zen Educate is tackling the educator shortage by helping schools connect with passionate teaching assistants and paraprofessionals. We’re proud to support both schools and staff by creating smart, fast matches that benefit students and communities alike.
Become a Classroom Aide and be a vital part of the school day, helping to maintain an engaging learning space, assisting with non-instructional duties, and providing an extra layer of support to both students and the teacher.
Aid students in meeting their individualized education plan (IEP)
Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student's learning experiences and support them as needed
Support students with elements of personal care (feeding, toileting, etc.)
1+ years experience working with children with special needs
- Applicants must have professional proficiency in English
- US Work Authorization - Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship for an employment visa or relocation assistance at this time.
Additional physical requirements may be requested during your application process
Educator License with Stipulations (ELS) with a Paraprofessional (PARA) endorsement from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
Previous experience working in special education
Crisis prevention (CPI) training
Pay: $20 per hour, paid weekly
Schedule: Minimum two days throughout Monday to Friday, within hours of 7:30 am - 3:00/4:30 pm (no weekend work).
Weekly Direct Deposit
