This position serves as the College's professional graphic designer and is responsible for developing creative print, digital, and multimedia communications that support enrollment, advancement, institutional communications, and campus initiatives. The position manages multiple high-profile design projects simultaneously and ensures visual communications are consistent with the College's brand standards.
Designs and produces creative print, digital, and multimedia materials that support enrollment, advancement, institutional communications, and other College initiatives.
Develops original graphic designs, illustrations, publications, presentations, infographics, signage, and promotional materials for use across print, web, social media, and other digital platforms.
Coordinates multiple graphic design projects simultaneously by establishing production schedules, prioritizing assignments, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality communications that support institutional priorities.
Ensures all graphic design projects comply with the College's brand standards and visual identity guidelines while maintaining consistency across marketing and communication materials.
Coordinates photography, videography, and other visual content for marketing campaigns, institutional events, and College publications.
Works directly with commercial printers, photographers, and other vendors to coordinate production specifications, review proofs, and ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of printed and promotional materials.
Maintains digital design files, graphic assets, and marketing materials while ensuring current branding, accessibility standards, and production specifications are met.
Provides graphic design consultation and creative support to campus departments to effectively communicate information through visual media.
Baccalaureate degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, Marketing, Communications, or a closely related field.
More than three years of progressively responsible professional graphic design or visual communications experience.
Professional photography and videography experience.

• Experience designing for websites, social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.
• Experience developing publications, annual reports, and other large-scale print and digital communications.

Ability to develop creative and effective visual communications that support institutional goals.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in developing creative solutions and recommending design approaches.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, vendors, and external partners.
• Ability to interpret project needs and translate concepts into effective print, digital, and multimedia communications.

Knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, color theory, layout, and visual communication.

• Knowledge of print production processes, paper stocks, printing specifications, and production methods.
• Knowledge of branding and visual identity standards across print and digital media.
• Knowledge of current graphic design, digital marketing, and multimedia trends.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices for digital and print communications.

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and other graphic design software.

• Skill in photography, photo editing, and multimedia content creation.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Skill in creative problem solving and visual storytelling.
