Associate Veterinarian and/or Weekend Urgent Care

We have a robust team of 11 doctors, 40 veterinary assistants, 12 registered veterinary technicians, 14 receptionists, 11 kennel assistants, 3 janitorial team members, a dedicated pharmacy assistant, and 5 members of management.
Facilities/technology
7 exam rooms, an overnight sleeping room, digital radiographs, dental radiographs, ligasure, ultrasound, 2 oxygen chambers, a dedicated surgical suite, a dedicated dental suite, we offer boarding services. Hands‑free radiology strongly encouraged. AAHA accredited Board certified cardiologist, criticalists, and dermatologists that visit our clinic at least once per month seeing cases. VCA Bakersfield has been in operations since 1929. Students and new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated mentorship.
