Events Houseman

Housekeeping Volunteer
Maintain the cleanliness of the church facilities for planned church services, activities, and events in addition to regular office cleaning.
Experience and Knowledge Required

Proven track record of effective time management
At least one year of previous housekeeping experience
Teachable spirit, strong work ethic, commitment to excellence
Ability to communicate with and delegate to volunteer housekeeping teams
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Dust, vacuum, mop and disinfect various spaces of Victory Church.
Areas to clean include but are not limited to:
Office Areas
Bathrooms
Auditoriums
Kids Rooms
Multi-Purpose Spaces
Lobby's

Follow safety protocols to ensure self, staff and volunteers are in a safe and healthy environment (i.e. use wet floor signs, safe use of chemical cleansers).
Work with volunteer housekeeping team to maintain appropriate standard of cleanliness and delegate responsibilities when necessary.
Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

Pushing and pulling up to 30 pounds.
Lift up to 30 pounds.
Reaching, bending, stooping, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers
Ability to climb a ladder or stepstool.
