Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend Required | Must Work 2 Out of 4 Holidays
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to a primarily Medical-Surgical population, including observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical-surgical diagnoses, palliative, end-of-life, and hospice patients
Care for psychiatric observation patients, diabetic patients (including newly diagnosed and those with complications), surgical patients, and surgical observation cases
Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management throughout the shift
Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
Complete unit-based orientation modules as required during onboarding (non-billable, averaging 2–4 hours; hours may vary by unit)
Pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed, required for all RNs regardless of specialty)
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
EPIC EMR experience required
Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
No open background cases permitted
Current driver's license required to verify address
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Previous experience as a Charge RN
