HR Generalist/Employee Relations/Payroll

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting and administering a wide range of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, training, compliance, and HR policies. This role serves as a key resource for employees and management while helping maintain a positive and productive work environment.This position will play a critical role in the production process and contribute to the team’s overall performance in Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Attitude (QCDSA).We are a diverse team of collaborators, doers, and problem-solvers who are relentlessly committed to delivering excellence in aerospace manufacturing.Recruitment and StaffingManage full cycle recruiting for open positions, including job postings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, coordinating hiring managers, and extending offers.Develop and maintain talent pipelines for current and future staffing needs.Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.Assist managers with employee counseling, coaching, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.Promote positive employee morale and engagement initiatives.Plan/coordinate employee engagement with workplace events/activities.HR AdministrationMaintain employee personnel files and HR records for accuracy and confidentiality.Assist with payroll changes and coordinate with payroll department as needed.Compliance & PoliciesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Support implementation and communication of company policies and procedures.Training & DevelopmentCoordinate new hire orientation and onboarding programs.Support training initiatives, leadership development, and employee development programs.Performance ManagementAssist with performance review processes and goal setting programs.Support managers and performance improvement planning and employee development discussions.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATIONBachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.EXPERIENCE3+ years of human resources experience required.Recruiting experience is strongly preferred.Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skillsCOMPUTER SKILLSProficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTESStrong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods (up to 8-12 hours per shift). Able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25-50lbs regularly, and occasionally heavier weights with assistance.Ability to wear personal protective equipment ae required, Such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.WORK ENVIRONMENTOn the production floor, PPE is required depending on department and product (e.g., SAFETY SENSITIVEThis position is designated as Safety Sensitive under Oklahoma law, including the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act. As a result, individuals in this position are subject to drug testing, and the use of medical marijuana—even with a valid license—is not permitted.
