This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident caring for patients experiencing life-threatening conditions

Job Function :

Shift: 36 hrs/ 3x12 Rotating.
Manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients with critical, life-threatening conditions requiring rapid assessment and high-intensity interventions .
Provide emotional support, education, and clear communication to patients and families during emergency situations .
Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, recognizing when early intervention is needed .
Prepare patients for surgery, imaging, and diagnostic procedures .
Perform essential emergency procedures including IV insertion, medication administration, blood draws, and airway support (intubation assistance ) .
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR .

Active New York State RN License
Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience
Previous travel nursing experience in the ED required
Telemetry experience required
BLS - American Heart Association (AHA) only
ACLS - American Heart Association (AHA) only
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
