07:00 - 19:00, 3 - 12 hour shifts per week including every other weekend.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As an ICU RN, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to patients with complex medical conditions and those requiring advanced interventions.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care for up to 1-3 ICU patients, including managing patients on ventilators.
Utilize bedside shift report for patient hand-offs, ensuring continuity of care.
Administer advanced medical treatments and procedures, including CRRT, hemodynamic monitoring, and phlebotomy.
Manage post-operative care for cardiovascular surgeries, including CABG procedures and handling advanced equipment such as Swan Ganz catheters.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms effectively.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 36 months of RN experience, with at least 12 months in an ICU setting.
Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale.
BSN or higher education is preferred, along with advanced certifications (e.g., TNCC) and experience with neuro procedures.
