Unit: 5500-1006 - Med/Surg - 3 South

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Start Date: 06/02/2025

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements:

Profession: Registered Nurse

Specialty: Medical Surgical

Certification: BLS; NIH Preferred

Experience: 2 years required

1st Time Travelers: Not Accepted

Float required to units of equal or lesser acuity

Weekend Shifts: Half of contract

Ratios: 1:6

Beds: 20

Documentation System: EPIC required

Skills: MS/Tele, dysrhythmia management, renal failure, blood product administration, central line management, peripheral line management, PICC line management, IV starting, Heparin products, PCA, HFNC, nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac

Additional Details:

Local Traveler: Not accepted from specified counties

Unit Description: 19 private rooms, telemetry and oximetry monitoring, serving young adult to geriatric patients with medical, surgical, neurology, or neurosurgical diagnoses
