Head of Programme Management

Successfully promote and support the mission of Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas as guided by Catholic Social Teachings by providing supportive housing services at Shalom House Men's Transitional Living Program. The Program Manager will provide supervision and oversight of Transitional Living Support Staff and facility. Providing effective leadership for managed teams, including training, scheduling staff, service coordination, and professional development. Provide feedback and consultation to managed teams regarding services, coordination of services, assessments, goal setting, and engagement of client.

Organize and oversee all aspects of the program(s), including assessments, intakes, and crisis management

Admits new clients by reviewing records and applications; determining need for therapeutic medical, psychosocial, psychiatric evaluations, and physical health; Ensuring all shifts are fully staffed.

Help Director with recruitment and selection for new staff

Provide supervision and training to program staff.

Help prepare monthly, quarterly, annual program reports as required by the agency and funding sources.

Participate as part of the management team in developing new staff and supporting current staff to continue to meet the goals of the program(s)

Assist the management team to develop and manage long-term program and agency goals.

Adhere to all agency and program policies, contracts, and budgets.

This is a full-time (5 day) position. The work schedule must include Saturday & Sunday, plus 3 days Monday Friday. Demonstrate a passion for the mission of Catholic Charities

Must complete VIRTUS training, background screening, drug testing, and any ongoing training as required

A minimum of two years of experience in management and/or team lead in social services

A minimum of 1 year case management.

Experience with homeless populations and local social service agencies.

Ability to be prioritize and be flexible in an ever-changing environment with a positive attitude.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, standing, bending and moving
