PreOp PACU Nurse Opportunity

As a PreOp PACU Nurse, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. Join our team as a Perioperative Nurse in our ambulatory surgery center. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating the nursing care rendered preoperatively and postoperatively until your patients are discharged. Prepare your patients' care area adequately before case

Ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies for your patients' procedure

Administer pre-operative medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed

Check dressings and/or operative site of your patients and report abnormalities to the surgeon

Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing Required

• 1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU or Surgery
• Active RN license as required by state of employment
• online certification not acceptable
• PALS if required by facility within 30-days of hire
