Full-Time Bookkeeper (Accounting)

About the Role We are adding a seasoned Bookkeeper who will work with the Tax and Audit teams, perform bookkeeping and accounting services to multiple clients in a challenging role. This position is full‑time. We are looking for a team‑oriented professional who is a motivated self‑starter with the ability to work in a deadline‑driven environment. You must be able to interact well with others and represent our firm in a competent and professional manner, as interaction with clients and other associates is a vast part of the job.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions Prepare financial statements, bank reconciliations, trial balances and general ledger entries

Prepare and reconcile accounts payable and receivable

Prepare and maintain payroll, tax deposits and quarter/annual filings

Prepare sales and other local tax filings

Prepare Form1099

Assist with special projects, depending on the needs of the Partners and/or staff

Working knowledge of income tax returns and preparation a plus

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred

Expert with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel

Knowledge of Thomson Reuters Software a plus but not required

Required Skills Must have 5 or more years of prior bookkeeping experience

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Ability to prioritize to meet required deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work individually and in a team environment.
