Shelter Operations Manager

The Ascension House, an emergency shelter for men and women in Attleboro, MA, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Shelter Operations Manager to lead our team and ensure our mission of dignity, respect, and hope is at the heart of everything we do. Our shelter is more than a safe place—it's a launching pad for transformation. We connect individuals with housing resources, workforce development, financial planning, and mental health services to help them achieve long-term sustainability.

As the Shelter Manager, you'll be the driving force behind daily operations, team development, and program excellence. Lead and inspire a team committed to ending homelessness.

Oversee program compliance, documentation, and operations with precision and care.

Build partnerships with community organizations and referral sources.

Empower clients through advocacy, housing search support, and skill-building.

Track outcomes, supervise staff, manage schedules, and ensure effective communication across programs.

Bachelor's degree in Human Services (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience working directly with homeless populations, mental health, and substance use services.
proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
bilingual skills a plus.
