Status: Part-time, hourly (non-exempt);
At Family Promise of Spokane, where we help families end the cycle of homelessness, our Chief Operating Officer’s commitments connect directly to the shelter and housing programs families rely on. We’re looking for a part-time partner who makes sure those commitments get done.
Manage the calendar, triage email, draft correspondence, and prepare meetings so nothing is missed.
Log and route Directors’ requests, coordinate with the CEO’s Executive Assistant, and prepare concise briefs to support decisions.
You’ll be stretched into operations, personnel, finance, and strategy, where keeping confidences, using sound judgment, and knowing when to escalate matter more than knowing everything. 3+ years in executive support, administrative coordination, or project coordination, including supporting a senior leader. High school diploma or equivalent; Discretion and sound judgment with sensitive personnel, financial, and operational information, especially in unfamiliar territory.

• Experience building a tracking or organizational system where none existed.
• Clear writing, strong prioritization, and comfort with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace.

Nice to have: experience supporting a COO or operations leader, a nonprofit background, and familiarity with EOS® or Strety.
