Buyer Supply Chain (Urgent Need)

Exceptional care starts with exceptional people and teams. This job supports the materials management departments through customer service, issue resolution and problem solving. Ensures supplies are efficiently received, inventoried and delivered. Generates monthly reports, communicates with internal and external customers, and resolves errors.

Required – High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience

Required – Work experience in an inventory management or distribution role.

Preferred – Work experience in a healthcare supply chain role.

Required – Forklift certification only required if working at Warehouse District Row location within 30 days of hire.

Preferred – Supply Chain or Inventory Management Certification(s).

Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.

Ability to travel throughout and between facilities and work flexible schedule (i.e. 24/7, weekend, holiday, on call availability).

Ensures all internal and external customers service levels are maintained by monitoring customer service email account and phone line.

Generates and analyzes monthly productivity and supply chain reports to improve department efficiency and effectiveness.

Ensures inventory and purchase orders are accurately received, issued, and returned.

Resolves errors with receipts, customer orders, and/or par levels.

Works to improve supply chain processes, metrics, and customer satisfaction.

Identifies and addresses internal and external customer needs.

Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
