Human Resources Representative
Quanta Services, South Region is seeking an experienced Human Resources Representative to join our team. The Human Resources Representative provides broad-based, hands-on human resources support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations and leave administration, HRIS data management, and compliance. This is a senior-level, individual-contributor role for an experienced HR generalist who can operate with minimal supervision, exercise sound judgment on sensitive employee matters, and serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and frontline leaders. This position is classified as hourly (non-exempt) and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable federal and state law.
Serve as a point of contact for employees and supervisors on HR policies, procedures, and general HR questions, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
Support employee relations efforts, including assisting with workplace investigations, coaching supervisors on conflict resolution and disciplinary actions, and helping resolve employee concerns fairly and confidentially.
Support the full employee lifecycle through new-hire onboarding and documentation assistance.
Audit employee records in the HRIS, including new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, and status changes.
Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., FLSA, EEO, ADA, FMLA) and company policy; Prepare HR-related correspondence, reports, and presentations, including turnover, headcount, and other workforce metrics.
Support learning and development initiatives, including coordinating training schedules and materials, tracking completion of required and compliance training, and helping identify employee development and upskilling needs.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the HR department and business objectives.
3+ years of progressive experience in an HR generalist, HR representative, or HR coordinator role.

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) as well as AI tools.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
• Sound judgment and problem-solving ability, with a customer-service mindset toward employees at all levels.
