Machinist - 2nd Shift Full Time

The Machinist position performs all aspects necessary for the machining processes used in the manufacturing of components.
On-Site. Monday to Friday, 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM (10% Shift Differential).

Operate Manual or CNC equipment to produce components as outlined in the methods and process sheets
Loads and deletes programs in the computer
Demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude
Checks parts using specified gages or furnished fixtures to ensure dimensions are maintained
High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one (1) year of related experience and/or training; S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
Working knowledge of the machinability of metals, with a good mechanical aptitude
Knowledge and ability to use machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments
Good math skills, with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

Personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses and safety shoes) is required on the shop floor
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, acetone, alcohol, argon, braze alloys, nitrogen, hydrogen, oil-based lubricants and cleaning solutions.
