Nurse Coordinator (RN)- Care Management

Alternating shifts Saturday & Sunday 7a - 7p; Following week Saturday & Sunday 7p - 7a

Coordinate a centralized bed management system to facilitate efficient admissions and transfers, optimize occupancy and avoid delays in service.

Review all admissions and transfers for clinical/unit appropriateness and medical necessity. Provide direction and support to admissions coordinators to ensure efficient patient access and flow.
Analyze bed management data, identify issues and potential resolutions and prepare reports for executive review.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

~ Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing and Required professional licensure at time of hire.
