Registered Nurse - mental health (full-time night shift)

Responsibilities

Three Trails Behavioral Hospital is actively hiring a patient-centered Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing behavioral health team. This position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals experiencing mental health challenges in a safe, caring, and therapeutic environment. The hospital is located in Independence, MO.

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing patient evaluations.

Help develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans.

Administer medications and monitor therapeutic response and side effects.

Monitor patient safety and documentation.

Educate families.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure for the state of Missouri.

Experience in behavioral health, assessments, crisis intervention, and admissions preferred.

Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work three 12‑hour shifts per week in the evening (7:00pm-7:30am).
