Field HR Generalist (Employee Relations)

The Field HR Generalist performs Human Resources related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in some or of the following functional areas: training, employee relations, and employee appreciation programs.

Coordinates and provides training and presentations in a positive and professional manner for team members and management at stores;

Interprets, implements, and provides guidance and support in administering human resources policies and procedures to ensure that employees receive fair and reasonable treatment to establish a supportive work environment and to avoid potential legal liabilities;

Work on a variety of special projects and implementation of business unit and HR policies and programs;

Surveys and recommended revisions to HR policies for compliance efforts;

Partner with HR Managers and HR Business Partners to ensure compliance and assist in resolving employee incidents and/or issues;

Ability to travel by air or car as necessary;

A Bachelors degree in Business or related field is required. HR certification desired but not required.

This position requires 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist capacity.

Must have diverse experience and proficiency in a wide number of functions within HR

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), email and internet.

Knowledge of HRIS and leave administration required

Excellent customer service skills, strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Successful performance requires vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus;

Ability to drive and flexible to travel to all company locations, as required.

The pay scale above is a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for the position. Within this range, individual pay is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
