Accounting and Payroll Bookkeeper

Full Charge Bookkeeper
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday
Full Charge Bookkeeper responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
Process payroll for all employees, including calculating hours, deductions, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations
Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Prepare documentation and coordinate with external accountants during tax season and annual audits
Maintain organized filing systems for financial records, both digital and physical
Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal team members regarding financial matters
Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant regulations
Full Charge Bookkeeper Skills Required:
Minimum 2-3 years of full charge bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms
Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
Experience with payroll processing and understanding of payroll tax requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
