The structural internship provides an opportunity for structural engineering students to work in a wide variety of building design fields such as educational facilities, healthcare and wellness facilities, commercial and industrial buildings, parking structures, performing arts venues, hospitality and multi-family housing, governmental institutions, and historic renovation projects.

Job responsibilities vary depending on available projects at the time of the internship.
Internship Duration:
Internships typically last 2.5 to 6 months depending upon candidate's availability, with full-time hours during the summer.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Duties are typically performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table
Ability to actively engage with a computer for several hours per day and communicate over the telephone or virtual meeting platforms.
Occasionally project site visits where you will perform field inspections which may involve walking, standing, kneeling, or navigating uneven terrain.
Must comply with all safety requirements in the office and on job sites.
Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Civil or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in structures.
