Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care on the PCU/Telemetry unit
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Navy scrubs required
Must live outside the local area — local candidates will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
Previous experience in a PCU or Telemetry setting
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
