Head of Project Management

Project Manager Role: Highly regarded AISC Certified Steel Fabricator in the area is looking for a Project Manager to oversee projects up to 25K tons. The PM will be responsible for expediting projects, managing logistics, coordinating inspections, and overseeing timelines to ensure scheduled delivery and that top quality standards are met. Must have strong communication skills and be highly focused on teamwork & collaboration. Will be coordinating and overseeing all the different departments throughout the project life cycle.

Compensation package is competitive; including bonuses & a 401K program.

Project Manager Skills and Requirements

4+ years of Project Management experience in Structural Steel

Ability to accurately interpret sketches & blueprints; including design, construction, architectural & subcontractor drawings

Ability to perform work accurately, completely, & in a timely manner

Mastery of AISC codes

Project Management Job Responsibilities

Coordinate sequencing & any special job issues with General Contractors

Keep track of all submittals & press for timely return

Communicate with field superintendents to confirm delivery schedules

Communicate with detailers for release of jobs for fabrication

Update Job Schedule as needed

Address and service any field problems immediately
