Director of Human Resources - Healthcare
A large, well-established healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead and evolve its HR function during an exciting period of growth and operational focus.
This is a highly visible leadership role for an experienced HR professional who thrives in complex environments, understands healthcare workforce dynamics, and enjoys building strong, compliant, people-first systems.
Overall HR strategy, operations, and policy development
Full lifecycle talent management: recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and separations
Workforce planning and partnership with senior leadership
Compensation, benefits administration, and retirement programs
Regulatory compliance (FMLA, ADA, OSHA, COBRA, personnel records)
Staff training, development, and mandatory in-services
Employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives
Lead and manage the HR department and daily operations
Develop and maintain HR policies, job descriptions, and employee handbook
Represent HR in committees and cross-functional initiatives
5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
Master’s degree preferred (HR, Administration, or related field)
Strong knowledge of healthcare HR practices and employment law
Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
