Registered Nurse Weekend Emergency Department Night Shift

Emergency Room Nurse – Emergency Room
Schedule: Night Shift (3x12 typical)
Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Requirements:

Minimum 2 years RN experience
Experience with patient ratio of 1:4 required
Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS
Travel experience required
Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform emergency assessments and triage patients.
Manage and provide care for diverse patient populations including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Start intravenous lines and administer medications as prescribed.
Interpret dysrhythmias and chart patient information in the electronic medical record system.
Participate in trauma and multisystem care for patients with various conditions.
Provide behavioral and psychiatric patient management when necessary.
Compliance / Notes:

Weekend requirement: Every 3rd weekend
RTO: Max 7 days; no RTO allowed first week; no new RTO after submission
Scrub color: Navy
