Hotel Restaurant Server (Full Time )

Sway is an award-winning modern Thai restaurant in West Lake Hills, Texas. A Server is responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages to guests, and adhering to the outlet's steps of service. Service at New Waterloo is about combining great hospitality along with technical skills and warm personalities to create an upbeat, and welcoming environment.

verify minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
Describe and recommend wine and specialty beverages to guests
Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the POS system, and send them to the kitchen
Serve food and beverages to guests, preparing and garnishing dishes as required
See to each guest's special needs, including any allergies or dietary restrictions
Assist with running food and beverages, clearing tables, and escorting guests as needed
Ensure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns; inform immediate supervisor and apply corrective measures when necessary
Maintain revenue by preparing checks that itemize total costs + sales taxes and collect accurate payments from guests
Remove dishes and glassware from tables or counters, and take them to the kitchen for cleaning
Stock service areas with dining supplies such as plates, utensils, glassware, and linens
You have state-issued food handling + beverage certifications as required.
You have 6+ months of related experience in the hospitality industry.
You can speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the workplace.
You are able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
You can navigate and operate computer and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
