We are seeking seasoned M&A attorneys for a part-time, remote contracting role at the forefront of legal AI innovation. This is an exceptional opportunity for elite lawyers who want to shape how advanced artificial intelligence is trained, evaluated, and applied in real-world legal work. We are particularly interested in candidates with deep experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining contracts within the technology sector.

In this role, you will review and assess contract redlining workflows used to train and evaluate state-of-the-art AI models. Your expert contributions will directly improve how these systems identify risk, interpret contract language, and deliver tools with enhanced precision and legal judgment.

Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises to generate high-quality training data

Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback to improve model performance and output precision

Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria to assess AI performance on contract tasks with rigor and consistency

Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions

Contribute to the development of evaluation methodologies that ensure AI systems meet professional legal standards

from an ABA-accredited law school

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the M&A department of a corporate law firm

Demonstrated familiarity with standard M&A agreements, including Asset Purchase Agreements (APAs) and Stock Purchase Agreements (SPAs)

Proficiency in contract negotiation, redlining, and risk identification

Strong analytical capabilities and ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems

Demonstrated commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology

Comprehensive knowledge of mergers and acquisitions transactions and related legal frameworks

Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Advanced proficiency in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial agreements

Expert-level ability to identify, articulate, and negotiate contract modifications

Risk Assessment: Proven ability to identify and evaluate legal and commercial risks in contract language

Ability to work with AI systems and provide structured feedback for model improvement

Prior exposure to artificial intelligence, legal technology, or AI training initiatives

Experience working with private equity firms or investment funds

Familiarity with legal tech tools and platforms
