Full-Time Bookkeeper (Accounting)

Atrium is seeking on behalf of our client a Bookkeeper based in Downtown Miami, Florida. A background check may be run only after a conditional offer is made, where permitted by law .

Our Florida client is a growing consumer services company in expanding into the South Florida market. The Bookkeeper will utilize Excel strongly and QuickBooks Online and will play a key role in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and proactive in identifying process improvements. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements in QuickBooks Online, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards as Bookkeeper.

Excel usage : must be strong with Excel functions

General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, review and post journal entries, and monitor transactions for completeness and accuracy.

Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee AP/AR processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and customer collections as Bookkeeper.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to develop annual budgets and forecasts, monitor performance, and provide variance analysis as Bookkeeper.

Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making, identifying trends and opportunities for cost optimization.

Tax Compliance: Assist in preparing tax returns and support audits, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and liaising with external advisors as needed.

Minimum of 1 years of experience in full-cycle accounting.

Must have experience with QuickBooks online.

Strong with Excel as Staff Accountant.

Bachelor’s Degree as Bookkeeper.

Proficiency in full-cycle accounting, including financial reporting and month-end close.

Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.

Continuing education in accounting or finance preferred.

Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards as Bookkeeper.

Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
